There is purpose in the parts of our stories we never would have chosen.
At 34 years old, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 metastatic melanoma while raising four young children. In an instant, life changed. Cancer brought fear, uncertainty, loss, and suffering—but it also changed the way I see life, faith, people, and purpose.Years later, that experience became the foundation for Radiant Hope, a nonprofit created to support and encourage others whose lives have been impacted by cancer.
Today, I have the privilege of sharing my story with churches, women’s groups, nonprofits, conferences, businesses, and communities. I speak honestly about suffering, motherhood, faith, purpose, and what can happen when we allow the hardest parts of our stories to become places from which we love and serve others.

This message encourages others to see that our pain does not have to be wasted—and that some of the most meaningful parts of our lives can grow from the places we never expected.
MOTHERHOOD THROUGH SUFFERING
Choosing presence, faith, and hope when you cannot control the outcome. I was a young mother of four when cancer entered our home.This message is an honest look at motherhood in the midst of suffering—the fear of leaving your children, the desire to protect them, the tension between holding on and letting go, and learning to be present in the life you have been given. It is a story about motherhood, but even more, it is about trusting God in the places where we have very little control.
WHEN YOUR STORY BECOMES YOUR MISSION
Turning lived experience into meaningful impact.Radiant Hope began because I understood what it felt like to walk through cancer and need people to show up. I share how a personal story became a nonprofit mission—and how that mission grew into an organization serving people impacted by cancer. This message is especially meaningful for nonprofits, leaders, entrepreneurs, churches, and anyone who feels called to build something from what they have lived through. Your story may not simply be something that happened to you. It may become part of how you serve someone else.
